Specialist Operator - Asphalt Plant

Join The Green Team at our Christchurch Asphalt Plant and take your career to the next level! We’re on the lookout for a full‑time Plant Operator to be part of a tight‑knit crew that produces up to 1,250 tonnes of asphalt daily using cutting‑edge technology.

This is a full‑time permanent role, working a minimum of 40 hours. Hours of work can vary to meet the needs of the business, including early‑morning starts.

Responsibilities

Operate the plant safely and efficiently to meet production targets, ensuring quality standards are maintained and health and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Prior plant operating experience
• Relevant plant or mechanical operating experience desirable (e.g. heavy diesel mechanic or plant maintenance)
• Class 1 full licence essential; WTR and Class 2 beneficial
• Good verbal and written communication skills
