Specialist III, Instructional Design

**I. Job Summary**

This advanced training professional designs, develops, produces and modifies learning/training programs; to include instructor led training, web-based training, and performance support for employee and/or customer training programs. This position also leads other team members as necessary. This position is responsible to apply knowledge of sound adult learning principles and practices gained in obtaining a bachelor's degree in the subject area, or by the equivalent practical experience and additional practical experience.

**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Leads instructional design projects from inception to completion; enters data into database, and maintains files and records. – 10% of the time
+ Consults with subject matter experts, project sponsors and staff on instructional design and learning objectives. – 10% of the time
