Specialist Engineer - Reactor Structures

Job Description Overview

We are currently seeking a Specialist Engineer who specializes in the design of CANDU Reactor Structures (i.e., pressure vessel, calandria vessel, end shields, reactor supports, etc.), providing strategic technical leadership, defining engineering approaches, and serving as a primary technical interface with organizations inside and outside the company on complex, large‑scale refurbishment and new build nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a recognized technical leader in the design of CANDU reactor components, systems, and structures across complex projects.
• Maintain effective technical liaison with internal and external organizations as a Subject Matter Expert for CANDU Reactor Structures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring of junior, intermediate and senior engineers, influencing and aligning engineering practice across projects.
