Position Title: Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist
Location: Senai, Johor.
Summary
This position is responsible for performing all country of origin and preferential free trade agreements evaluation and maintaining compliance data in SAP GTS. Duties also include preparing Customs binding rulings, identifying and recommending new global trade processes and procedures, and understanding global trade system interfaces and capabilities. The specialist assigns HTS Classifications and Schedule B codes to relevant company items and supports the Customs & Trade Compliance team in evaluating free trade agreements and determining country of origin. The role maintains Hershey’s Global Trade System and other databases to comply with global trade compliance regulations, provides updated FTA Certificates to Customs Brokers, and assists other Import Services Administration personnel with special projects related to customs requirements.
