Responsibilities
- Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs/replacements, and other complex interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists
- Participate actively in clinical research and teaching initiatives within the university healthcare setting
- Provide expert preoperative and postoperative management and follow-up care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative surgical techniques and protocols
- Mentor and train surgical residents and fellows to foster the next generation of cardiac surgeons
- Maintain adherence to hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiac Surgery
