Summary About the Position: This position serves as a Special Operations Specialist (Strategy/Plans), GS-0301-13 within the Strategy, Plans, and Policy Directorate (J-5) of Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR). The directorate conducts strategic and operational level planning and resource management. It is located in Stuttgart, Germany on Patch Barracks. Responsibilities Responsible for developing implementation strategies to execute theater activities that contribute to building partner capability and conducting security force assistance and foreign internal defense efforts. Responsible for leading the design, creation, and development of future strategy and plans for the execution of sensitive SO within EUCOM's AOR. Assist the division chief in the design of sensitive SO contingency and security cooperation plans that support the EUCOM Commander and other geographic and functional combatant command (CCMD) pre-crisis and crisis activities.
