Penski Staffing a Cortech Company is seeking candidates for a Spare Hand position in our Potsdam area.
Spare Hand will be responsible for performing multiple and varied tasks in the production environment. Candidate will be trained in various positions. Typically includes Third Helper, Fourth Hand, and Roll Finisher. Pay Rate $19.00 Full-time with rotating shifts to include mid nights, days, evenings and weekends. Job Responsibilities: Retrieve stock and supplies from warehouse Operate fork truck and clamp truck Prepare broke for Paper Machines and store unused broke Prepare and weigh pulp on scale Prepare and load pulp and load broke into slushers Properly dispose of waste Maintaining an operating fork truck, pulp scales, monitor contaminants Determine pulp and filler supply needs Maintain fork lift inspection reports Prepare rolls for shipping; inspect, splice as needed Operator roll shuttle, core cutter, slab bailer, winder, and information control computer Thread machine and win...
