HOWOO is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team.
Located in New York City, HOWOO is a modern Korean steakhouse focused on premium ingredients, refined hospitality, and elevated tableside dining experiences. We are looking for a leader who is organized, disciplined, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining high culinary standards in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Executive Chef and CDC with daily kitchen operations
• Lead and supervise line cooks and prep cooks during service
• Maintain consistency, cleanliness, and organization throughout all stations
• Ensure all food is prepared and plated according to HOWOO standards
• Support ordering, inventory management, and cost control
• Assist with staff training, station development, and service execution
• Maintain NYC DOH food safety and sanitation standards
