Responsibilities
Escorts patient and family to and from examination room. Explains exam to patient and family prior to the commencement of the test to assure cooperation and optimum test results. Acquires anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician. Maintains patient charts and records, and records/processes sonographic data and other pertinent observations made during the procedure for presentation to the interpreting physician.
