The Marshall Project is a nonprofit news organization dedicated to covering the U.S. criminal justice system. A Pulitzer Prize winner, we focus on investigative and explanatory projects to create a sense of urgency about the criminal justice system.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the existing analytics platform to improve reporting and performance
- Support the development and optimization of advertising infrastructure
- Design, build, and enhance features within the Content Management System (CMS)
- Build interactive tools, story components, and digital experiences for web and mobile
- Ensure products are responsive, accessible, and optimized for consistent user experience
Requirements
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, git, and Ruby on Rails (or comparable framework)
- Familiarity with the command line and Git
- Experience with SQL databases
