**The Work**
As the Lead Software Engineer, you will:
• Provide technical direction and tasking to a team of multi-disciplinary engineers
• Interface with program and customer representatives on scope, schedule and funding
• Ensure technical integrity of delivered product and ensure alignment to department roadmap and vision
• Be responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance of an effort
• Lead software‑engineering activities for simulation and training subsystems across the full product lifecycle, including the software architecture and design, software implementation, and software validation testing.
