Software Engineer - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)

Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
**The Work**
The Software Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency’s GMD Weapon System program by designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining software capabilities that support mission-critical weapon system functionality. The engineer will work as part of an Agile product team and collaborate with systems engineering, test, cybersecurity, integration, and customer stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions in support of program milestones.
