Responsibilities
- Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C++ and Blueprints
- Prototype new mechanics and combat characters within Unreal Engine 5
- Develop and test feature prototypes using StateTree, GAS, and Animation Blueprints (ABP)
- Collaborate closely with game designers to create engaging enemies and gameplay mechanics
- Utilize existing game systems and development approaches to ensure project consistency and effective teamwork
- Strong proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience developing gameplay in Unreal Engine 5
- Practical experience with StateTree, Behavior Tree, GAS, and Animation Blueprints
- Proven ability to prototype and implement combat mechanics and gameplay systems from concept through in-engine tuning
- Solid understanding of game system architecture and the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
