Software Engineer (Compliance) - Global Payment

Responsibilities About the Team The mission of the Global Payment Compliance team is to build payment compliance strategies and solutions that prevent regulatory risks, while aligning flexible strategies with the risk appetite of our payment partners to reduce channel risks and spillover effects. We work closely with algorithm and policy engineers to build a reliable compliance product ecosystem — including KYC, AML, and sanction screening — to ensure payment compliance for ByteDance products such as TikTok Live and TikTok E-commerce. - Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the compliance system; - Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle; - Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code; - Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to fix and improve our products.
