Launched to enable developers to run isolated sandboxes with full lifecycle control, Lambda MicroVMs are powered by Firecracker, the same lightweight virtualization technology behind over 15 trillion monthly Lambda function invocations. The service is rapidly growing as the default platform for executing untrusted and AI-generated code in hardware-isolated environments with sub-second launch and resume capabilities.

We are seeking Software Development Engineers interested in driving the evolution of the Lambda MicroVMs platform. Our teams build and operate the end-to-end systems behind Lambda MicroVMs, from the ingress layer that securely routes customer traffic to MicroVM backends, to the orchestration services that launch, suspend, resume, clone, and terminate millions of MicroVMs weekly, to the metering systems that track usage for accurate billing at scale.
