The CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal is hiring Social Workers for full‑time permanent and temporary positions within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service for Youth Protection at the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres in Westmount.

Responsibilities

• Work with English‑speaking children and families from diverse communities, some of whom may be facing neglect, abuse, or personal or family challenges.
• Analyze reports and implement protective measures when a child’s safety or development is at risk.
• Go into the field to meet children, families, and professionals.
• Quickly assess situations, including risks, needs, safety, and the child’s development.
• Propose concrete and safe solutions (living environment, resources, interventions).
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each youth.
• Support parents and guide youth in developing positive behaviors.
