Social Worker / Social Work Executive (KidSTART Practitioner)

The KidSTART Practitioner (KSP) works with parents, caregivers, and relevant systems to:

• Build child development knowledge and parenting skills.
• Enhance parent‑child relationships.
• Support parents in enabling their children to meet age‑appropriate developmental milestones.
• Promote child safety and well‑being.
• Assist with key life transitions, such as primary school transition support.

Key functions include:

• Intake and Enrolment Process – Handle referrals from hospitals, community referrals, self‑referrals, government agencies, and other SSAs; engage families about the program, seek consent, and determine eligibility; keep accurate data in SSNet and internal databases.
