SMT Technician

SMT Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality PCB assembly. The role supports production by optimizing machine performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production requirements.

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, SPI, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI systems.
• Perform machine changeovers, program verification, and product setup based on production schedules and work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure quality, yield, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Troubleshoot equipment alarms, machine malfunctions, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
