Small Appliances Technician

Job Description

Examine, identify, and fix small appliances with electrical or electronic components such as rice cookers, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, and blenders. Ensure the best possible performance through preventive maintenance.

• Using testing equipment and hand tools, replace or fix damaged parts.
• Create service reports that include the components used, repairs, and time spent on each task.
• Provide clients with technical advice and direction on how to maintain and use their appliances.
• Work with the service supervisor to prioritize tasks and order parts.
• Maintain workspace, tools, and equipment neat and orderly.
• Ensure corporate tools and customer appliances are handled and stored safely.
• Test appliances before releasing them to consumers to confirm they operate as intended.
• Carry out additional duties as delegated by the service manager or supervisor.
