Position Overview
The University Animal Hospital is seeking a small animal veterinarian for a fixed‑term position from September1,2026 to August31,2027, with a negotiable start date. The role focuses on treating acute and intensive care patients, teaching veterinary students, and working in emergency, intensive care, and outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Treat acute and intensive care patients in the small animal hospital.
- Participate in the clinical teaching of veterinary students in the teaching hospital.
- Work in emergency services shifts and day shifts in the ICU or general outpatient clinic.
- Participate in weekend and holiday on‑call duties.
- Handle referral cases from across Finland.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed veterinary degree in Finland.
- Good Finnish language skills.
