This role would provide more comprehensive input than a limited SME consultation model and would support active pathway development, drafting, workshop participation, validation and final reporting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Leading specialist SLT input into the Communication and Language Disorders pathway.

Reviewing relevant project documents, pathway scope and available Abu Dhabi service information.

Supporting the focused situational analysis from an SLT, communication and language perspective.

Reviewing international best-practice models relevant to communication and language disorders, functional communication, developmental language disorder and AAC.

Defining referral triggers for speech, language, communication, social communication and functional communication concerns.

Advising on SLT triage logic, including routine, priority and urgent referral indicators.
