SLCC Workforce Trainer, Lineworker Program, Part-Time

Job Summary

Workforce Trainers are responsible for all tasks and activities related to course/workshop instruction for various topics related to the Electric Power Technology and Lineworker Program, including the Lineworker Pre-Apprenticeship, as well as the Lineworker, Meter Technician, and Substation Technician Apprenticeship Programs.
This includes assisting and supporting students efforts to prepare for College and IPSA STEP level testing, as well as utilizing online and/or distance education applications (Learning Management System) as follows:

Maintain records of student performance, including test administration and posting of all grades into appropriate on-line system.

Maintain student information confidentiality in compliance with FERPA regulations (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).
