Skilled Welder (FCAW/SMAW/MIG/TIG)

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using FCAW, SMAW, MIG/MAG, and TIG processes as per job requirements.
• Carry out structural fabrication welding for heavy equipment, shipyard, or oil & gas components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication blueprints.
• Execute welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials, including high-strength steels.
• Ensure weld quality meets NDT standards (UT, MT) and minimize repair rates.
• Maintain compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX welding procedures.
• Perform welding in various positions, including 3G and 2F as applicable.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace quality standards.
• Support production schedules and be flexible for overtime requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors and fabrication teams for job completion.
