Vacancy Description

  • Work as part of the Infrastructure Maintenance team to provide designated maintenance services for the community. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks to achieve a high standard of maintenance of roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage systems, signs and street furniture within the Municipality.

    In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and perform the smooth action and compliance of infrastructure maintenance tasks on site
  • Maintain roads, footpaths, storm water drainage system, street signs and street furniture within the Municipality
  • Work cooperatively with team members and members of the public, escalating enquiries and problems as they emerge
  • Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, digging, raking, sweeping and the use of mechanical tools
