Site Safety Lead

Our client, operating in the defence and security sector with a specific focus on the maritime industry, is currently seeking a Site Safety Lead for a permanent position. This role is located at the British Underwater Test & Evaluation Centre (BUTEC), a specialised facility focused on underwater testing and evaluation of various maritime systems. Key Responsibilities:

Work in partnership with the Head of Site and Site Compliance Lead to provide competent and professional health, safety and occasional environmental advice to operational and delivery teams
Lead the practical implementation and delivery of HSE legislation, policy, strategy and objectives, applying high professional standards and building strong internal networks
