Simulations Engineer

About this Role

As our Simulations Engineer, you own Kova's simulation stack – the most critical internal tool we have. Every engineer on the team depends on what you build to test, iterate, and validate autonomy in environments that can't easily be replicated in the real world. You'll fly real drones, understand how they actually behave, and translate that into simulation environments that hold up to scrutiny. Your users sit across the desk from you and will tell you immediately when something doesn't work. You report directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Own the simulation stack end‑to‑end: physics, rendering, world design, data pipelines, and integration with our autonomy systems
• Fly drones – manually and autonomously – to develop intuition for real‑world drone dynamics, then replicate that fidelity in simulation
