Simulation Expert - Semiconductor Processes and Materials - Espoo

As a Simulation Expert you will work on modelling and simulation of semiconductor manufacturing processes, focusing on plasma patterning and deposition. You will apply atomistic and continuum approaches, combining them to understand and optimize process behavior, and help shape simulation‑driven development in an evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Process Simulation & Modelling: Multi‑scale simulation of plasma and deposition processes.
• Methods: Combine atomistic, continuum, analytical, and machine learning approaches.
• From Research to Industrialization: Understand plasma–surface interactions and thin‑film growth, translate insights into process improvements, and support transfer to high‑volume manufacturing to enhance yield and reduce costs.
• Validation: Align simulations with experimental data from semiconductor wafers.
