Shunter Driver

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client site in Ashford. Your role as a Class 1 shunter driver will involve shunting trailers in and out of bays, moving trailers around the yard, and ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times. You will escort drivers initially to the waiting area, take keys from the vehicles to the bays, and complete paperwork for any trailer moves to ensure that any damage is reported prior to moves and to protect against false claims.

Qualifications

• 1 year C+E experience is a must
• No more than 6 points
• Digi card and CPC
• Previous experience of shunting is essential

Essential Information

PAYE rate – up to £18.54
Working Hours – (Apply online only)
Working Days – 4 on 4 off
