The mechanic position is responsible for carrying out all vehicle and equipment repairs, troubleshooting, setup, and preventative maintenance service as directed by the Fleet Manager.

The mechanic position is responsible for carrying out all vehicle and equipment repairs, troubleshooting, setup, and preventative maintenance service as directed by the Fleet Manager.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Provides routine maintenance on all vehicles and equipment regarding OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform requires maintenance and service.
- Repairs all work orders that are turned in by Mahaney staff.
- Assists with vehicle accidents and out of service violations as they occur.
- Ensures completeness of repairs for all work orders that are turned in by company staff.
