Shipping & Receiving Logistics Specialist
1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $24.00/hour
+ 2 to 3 years of on-site lab or logistics work experience, including shipping and receiving responsibilities.
+ Receives all incoming goods, checks for accuracy against packing slips, and prepares for delivery
+ Enters all relevant information into electronic receiving system
+ Maintains updated receiving files and follows up with the Purchasing Department regarding receiving problems, as directed by supervisor
+ Delivers and picks up mail on a regular schedule as assigned
+ Assists with the packaging of outbound freight for transfer to carriers, couriers and brokers
+ Maintains a clean and safe work environment
+ Performs other duties as assigned
+ Forklift license and experience preferred
+ Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
