Ship Application Specialist - Singapore Office

The Ship Application Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of IT systems across the BWEK fleet vessels. This role ensures that all vessel IT incidents are managed effectively, infrastructure is maintained and standardized, and cybersecurity and operational risks are proactively controlled.

• Maintain full ownership of onboard IT systems during vessel visits, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
• Perform proactive IT health checks on every vessel visit, regardless of the primary purpose of travel.
• Ensure all identified IT issues are addressed prior to departure from the vessel wherever feasible.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal reliance on external support.
