Shift Leader

Job Title: Shift Leader Division: Weir Minerals (HBF) Location: Qgeberha Onsite/Shift Purpose of Role: Co-ordinate the melting team during the shift to ensure safe and efficient operations in the foundry. Provide support to the team to ensure safety, quality and productivity levels are maintained. Ensure company policies are implemented and upheld. Foster a positive work environment and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage the melting personnel on shift. Monitoring and improving production efficiencies, managing cycle times and ensuring production targets are met. Motivate and encourage the team and foster teamwork. Quality and Continuous Improvement: Maintain the integrity of the ISO 9001 system. Ensure policies and procedures are followed, and where applicable, ensure continuous improvement is applied through controlled management of change.
