Job Description

A well established and rapidly growing Contracting Mining Company based on various mining sites throughout South Africa, is urgently looking to employ a Shift Boss to be based in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have experience with underground conventional and/or trackless mining for hard rock mines. Explosives experience will be a massive advantageous. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12

•Underground Hard Rock Blasting certificate

•Mining Diploma advantageous

•Explosives qualifications advantageous

•3 – 10 years’ experience working in an underground mining production environment

•2 years’ experience as a Shift Boss
