Sheet Metal Workers/ Light Fabricators/ Welders
Location: Glasgow – Site Based
On behalf of our Client, we are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers/ Light Fabricators/ Welders to support the construction of world-leading naval ships.
Main Duties
As a Sheet Metal Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Fabricating, assembling, and installing sections of naval vessels
Manufacturing and installing sheet metal furniture, including lockers, cabinets, and storage modules
Fabricating and installing furniture and ventilation systems
Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using a range of hand and power tools
Fitting and securing fabricated components accurately
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Working safely in line with site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements
Maintaining high-quality standards throughout all fabrication activities
