SHEET METAL MECHANIC LEADER

The primary purpose of this position, SHEET METAL MECHANIC LEADER, WL-3806-10, is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trade and/or labor work on a substantially full-time and continuing basis. The leader is responsible to perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensure that subordinates complete assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards. Responsibilities 1. Lead a team of trades and/or labor workers. 2. Perform nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. 3. Examine aircraft sheet metal structures for cracks, breaks, holes, bulges, dents, and loose or missing rivets. 4. Use and maintains tools. 5.
