Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Supported First Year of Practice (SFYP)
About the role
Collaborate with the Southland and Otago based SFYP and Otago based NESP (New Entry to Specialty Practice) coordinators, working within the Health Workforce NZ Nursing programme. Ensure that the programme policies and specifications are applied and followed.
- Join a team of experienced and positive nurses
- Advance clinical knowledge in others
- Develop the practice of the next cohort of graduate nurses
- Supported by the Otago PDU Manager and collaborate closely with other team members
- Deliver quality and evidence‑based education and support to nurses joining our profession
- Ensure all relevant Managers (Nurse Directors, Charge Nurse Managers, and Community Nurse Managers) understand and apply these policies and specifications
- Create and maintain a wide range of networks through the Southern region
