Job Description

A Sewer is responsible for stitching and assembling garment pieces using sewing machines and other tools according to production specifications. They ensure that finished garments meet quality standards, proper measurements, and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Sew garment pieces together using industrial sewing machines.
• Follow patterns, measurements, and sewing instructions accurately.
• Assemble different parts of clothing such as sleeves, collars, pockets, and hems.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure quality and correct stitching.
• Repair minor sewing defects when necessary.
• Maintain sewing equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Work closely with pattern makers, cutters, and the production team.
