Shape future talents in the arts as a Sessional Lecturer in Indigenous Performance Methods at the School for the Arts in Saskatoon. This in-person role focuses on teaching acting and cultural appreciation across Indigenous perspectives.
Applications are invited for Sessional Lecturers to teach courses during the regular session. Positions are available for several acting courses requiring an MFA in Acting or Theatre Performance. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Indigenous culture and language, active teaching experience, and effective performance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct DRAM 111.3 and various Acting courses
• Communicate Indigenous cultural contexts through performance
• Promote collaborative learning in small class settings
• Engage students with immersive teaching techniques
• Mentor students in advanced acting practices
