Serving the Elderly - making friends & creating smiles

Are you compassionate? Are you a good listener? Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly? Do you have 2-4 hours a month (flexible) to volunteer in your neighborhood?

Being a part of the Bliss Hospice Volunteer Team may be a fit for you.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 16 years old (or can Volunteer w/ someone over 18)
• Have own transportation to get to and from visits

We currently have opportunities in the following areas:

• Visiting patients one on one (talking, socialization, puzzles, crafts, etc.)
• Music (playing guitar, piano, etc.)
• Art (group art sessions - coloring, basic painting, etc.)
• Pets (therapy dogs, bunnies, mini horses, mini donkeys)
