Service Manager - Marine Generators

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Team & Technical Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a mixed team of ~10 mechanical and electronic service engineers.
  • Act as the primary technical expert and final escalation point for all complex diagnostic and repair challenges.
  • Plan and manage engineer schedules, dispatching the right skills for 24/7 emergency call-outs, planned maintenance, and major projects.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and develop the technical competency of the team.
  • Foster a strong culture of safety (HSE), quality, and first-time-fix problem‑solving.
• 2. Service Operations Management
  • Oversee the entire service workflow, from customer call and quotation to job execution and final invoicing.
