About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability and performance of SCT's locomotive fleet. Working closely with Quality and Reliability Engineers and Maintenance Operations teams, you will provide technical leadership, investigate complex equipment failures and develop practical engineering solutions that improve fleet availability and operational performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on rail experience with engineering principles to deliver lasting improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Reliability Engineers to identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives across the locomotive fleet.
  • Provide technical support and act as the primary engineering escalation point for complex locomotive faults.
