Service Desk Technician

Albany, NY

Contract 6-Month Minimum with Possible Extension

Role Overview

First point of contact for employee technology support via phone, portal, and in-person channels.

Schedule Options

  • 4 openings: 7A-4P 10:30A-7P (last 2 hrs remote) 8A-5P
  • One Saturday/month Occasional late shift coverage

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve incidents in Jira Service Management
  • Password resets, account unlocks, and access support
  • Troubleshoot virtual desktops, VPN, MFA, printers, and endpoints
  • Support Microsoft productivity tools and line-of-business applications
  • Escalate unresolved issues with thorough documentation

Requirements

  • 1-2 years help desk or desktop support experience
  • Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk, ...
