Senior Underwriter responsible for underwriting assigned risks, including MLC (Management Liabilities Commercial) and FI (Financial Institutions), within the Financial Lines department. The role requires exercising personal underwriting authority, negotiating terms, and making sound business decisions to achieve new business targets.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite MLC and FI risks, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Exercise judgment, negotiate, and make sound business decisions within the authority level granted.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and other distribution partners.
