Senior Transmission Lines Engineer

Overview

At Jacobs, we solve some of the world’s most critical problems. Our Energy and Power group is growing and is delivering a diverse range of transmission line projects across New Zealand and the wider APAC region. This role is a Senior Transmission Lines Engineer who will bring these projects to life.

Responsibilities

Deliver high voltage transmission line projects from early design through to construction support. Contribute to real projects, collaborating with local and APAC specialists. Perform technical design work and conduct occasional site visits to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in transmission line engineering and design
• A degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with tools such as PLS-CADD, TOWER, or POLE
• Knowledge of relevant standards (AS/NZS, IEEE, IEC)
