Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland’s seven Regional Transport Partnerships, established by the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005. As well as running the iconic Glasgow Subway, SPT delivers an extensive range of public transport services including bus stations and subsidised bus services, delivers projects directly and in partnership with others, and is responsible for preparation of the statutory Regional Transport Strategy for the west of Scotland. Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), is currently leading significant transport transformation plans, including: Bus reform; Clyde Metro, a regional-wide integrated transport network; and the latter stages of the significant Subway system modernisation. At the same time as planning and looking ahead, we continue to deliver daily services.
