Senior Technician (IT Services)(C/VOU/STEC/07/26-AP2)

Major Duties

: (a) To lead the installation, administration, and maintenance of campus-wide network infrastructure, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), and virtualisation environments to ensure high availability and security; (b) To manage and support specialised academic and research platforms, including high-performance AI computing, cybersecurity training environments, virtual production, and real-time game development engines; (c) To manage laboratory facilities and resources, overseeing procurement, inventory control and the technical supervision of renovation, alteration and improvement (AA&I) works; (d) To supervise and train technical staff, enforce occupational safety regulations, maintain operational manuals and ensure the overall efficiency of designated units; and (e) To oversee enterprise software licensing and campus-wide timetabling systems, while leveraging automation tools, Generative AI, and analytics to continuously improve departmental and oper...
