Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, and/or manage the implementation of the global supplier development strategy to ensure a flawless launch of new products/programs.
- Follow up on the APQP process as part of the launch of new products.
- Coordinate technical reviews and develop supplier capabilities to meet BorgWarner requirements.
- Develop supplier resources to meet BW requirements.
- Conduct quality training for suppliers.
- Coordinate performance improvement actions for suppliers to achieve established goals.
- Coordinate the resolution of technical problems at the supplier.
- Follow established procedures and work to identify best practices.
- Review work performed according to technical opinion, analyzing the overall situation against predefined goals.
