Support the development, analysis and implementation of provincial policies and programs. Provide a direct line-of-sight into government decision-making and play a key role in shaping Ontario’s fiscal strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to Treasury Board / Management Board of Cabinet (TB/MBC), the Minister, the Deputy Minister and executive management on strategic business, fiscal/financial, policy and planning initiatives.
• Develop partnerships and consult with stakeholders on a range of projects and initiatives.
• Support strategic planning by developing financial and written input for the annual provincial budget and other public documents.
• Negotiate and resolve issues on the interpretation and analysis of business plans, reports and submissions.
