Senior Sous Chef
Luxury 5* boutique hotel based in Ballito offers barefoot luxury in an intimate setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in developing and executing creative, innovative menus using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and guidelines.
- Supervise and support the kitchen team during food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations, including cooking, plating and inventory management, minimizing wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Support the Head Chef in training, scheduling and evaluating kitchen staff.
- Promote a positive, professional work environment and lead by example.
