Senior Setter - Manufacturing

Requirements

• Grade 12 and Red Seal Toolmaker qualification.
• 20+ years' experience in toolmaking or precision machining.
• Strong experience with gear cutting machinery, milling machines, presses, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, perform machine setups, and work independently.
• Programming knowledge and machine setting experience advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and optimise production equipment and tooling.
• Manufacture, maintain, and repair tooling and fixtures.
• Ensure first-off approvals and maintain product quality.
• Perform machine fault-finding, adjustments, and basic maintenance.
• Read technical drawings and machine manuals.
• Maintain safe working practices and high housekeeping standards.
